ARNHEM - HOLLAND - September 2010

Plans are now underway for the Air Dispatch Reunion to be held in Arnhem (Holland) in September 2010 for the big commemoration of Market Garden.

We have flagged this for some time and I now REALLY NEED some indication from you all about whether you are interested or NOT.

The suggestion is the reunion will take place at Arnhem as set out in the warning Order on the ADAA website in mid Sept 2010.

Some of us are interested in doing a Rhine cruise and we are advised to make it before the reunion as it will be cooling off then and might get a bit cold for after the reunion.

So are you and yours interested ? We have pretty firm decisions from the KIWI’s that they will all be going, also Brian and Dianne Irving , Pat Slee and entourage, Kemm and Brenda Baber and Lynne & Myself so far

.We are also reliably informed that for the Rhine Cruise bookings may get tight as time goes on so it cannot be left to late.

Please take this as a final warning order and get me some advice NOW as to your intentions, a month or two will turn into six months and it will be TOO LATE. - Barry

As per Warning order Page:

A quick update on progress for 2010 following on from the the discussions in Vietnam last year.

Tours International, a UK based company run by Ralph Bennett, who is well known to UK airborne forces and runs our Normandy and Arnhem tours with great aplomb, has come up with a very reasonable quote for 2010 in Arnhem.

The deal is 349 UK pounds per person for 5 days Bed & Breakfast in a Mercure hotel on the outskirts of Arnhem. The deal also includes 5 days coach hire for getting us around. We are currently sourcing Rhine cruises for those who may be interested at their additional expense.

Basically the rough plan is,

Day 2. Friday 17 Sep
